Platform Governance & Digital Sovereignty — State-platform confrontation, regulatory authority, platform compliance, infrastructural dependence and the resources governments and technology companies use to exercise leverage over one another.
Algorithmic Governance & Participation — Participatory Enclosure: Community Notes and the Governance of Online Speech examines whether community moderation redistributes authority to users or expands participation while platforms retain control over the mechanisms that determine outcomes.
AI Governance & Infrastructure — Emerging research on frontier AI as infrastructure, state dependence on privately controlled technology, compute and cloud dependence, AI procurement, knowledge infrastructure, content licensing and implications beyond traditional centers of technological power.
